End The Experiment

Tell the Kansas Legislature to End the Brownback Experiment

The Kansas Legislature set a new record for the longest legislative session in history. As a direct result of Governor Sam Brownback's failed income tax experiment, there is not enough revenue to balance the budget. The Brownback experiment is a failure, the legislators who supported this experiment need to admit this failure and correct it immediately.

Sign this petition to tell the Kansas Legislature to repeal this experiment and restore the state's revenue.

If Kansas is to compete not only with surrounding states, but in the nation, we must have good schools. Kansas now has precious little to recommend itself to new residents. For a while we had excellent schools and still do, but that will not last long under the current authoritarian regime. Slowly but surely we are being reduced only to a place of great summer sunshine. We are not Florida. Our prairie sun should shine on an excellent, affordable quality of life. Daily work that distinguishes Kansans.

Yes. Sam Brownback and the gang he leads in Topeka are dangerous radicals. We need to end their voodoo policies and re-build a strong, sensible majority in the center of today’s political spectrum. That needs to happen for Kansas, and all across the nation. Where’s a better place to start the job than here in the Heartland?

I really think Brownback is trying to save his political future{whatever he thinks that may be}at all costs. Even if it crushes Kansas. Admitting failure is not in his vocabulary
