Moderate Party of Kansas

Kansas' greatest attribute is the quality of life it has to offer. Kansas has a history of great people, strong communities, and excellent schools. Kansans are smart, hardworking, busy folks who expect their elected officials to be good stewards of their tax dollars and to put forward common sense laws that seek to advocate the common good.

Governor Brownback's egocentric grandstanding has manifested itself into a full-fledged attack on moderates across the state. Political extremists have taken Kansas in the wrong direction. The Moderate Party of Kansas will hold those extremists accountable by bringing awareness to the negative impacts of their policies.

The best way to help change the political climate in Kansas is to get involved and get invested.

Stand Up to ALEC
Kansas is leading the parade among states in adopting ALEC’s fiscal policies with the help of Kansas House Speaker Ray Merrick and Kansas Senate President Susan Wagle since both serve on ALEC’s board of directors. The Kansas Anti-Corruption Act makes it illegal to purchase political influence, and puts power back in the hands of the People. The Kansas Anti-Corruption Act is model legislation that sets a standard for city, state and federal laws that prevent money from corrupting American government. It fundamentally reshapes the rules of American politics and restores The People as the most important stakeholders in our political system...
